1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of barcodegenerator.id, including our barcode & QR tools, downloadable resources, API, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept them, you must stop using the Service.

  • Service: The Barcoder website, tools, API, documentation, and all related services.
  • User: Any individual or entity using the Service.
  • Account: A registered user account required for certain features.
  • Content: Any data or files uploaded, generated, or viewed through the Service.
  • API: The Barcoder developer API and related keys & documentation.
  • Subscription: A paid access plan with recurring billing.

3. Eligibility & Acceptance

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. If using the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind it to these Terms. Your continued use constitutes acceptance.

4. Accounts & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, passwords, and API keys. Barcoder is not liable for loss caused by unauthorized access resulting from your actions.

5. License & Permitted Use

Barcoder grants a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Service for lawful personal or business use. Redistribution, resale, or unauthorized API use is prohibited.

6. Acceptable Use

  • No illegal or harmful activity.
  • No security bypassing or reverse engineering.
  • No mass scraping, automated misuse, or abuse of rate limits.
  • No uploading unlawful or infringing content.

7. Subscriptions, Fees & Payments

Paid plans renew automatically unless cancelled. Prices may change with prior notice. Fees are generally non-refundable unless required by law or our refund policy.

8. Third-Party Services & Integrations

We use third-party providers (hosting, analytics, email, payments). Their terms apply independently. Barcoder does not guarantee availability or performance of third-party systems.

9. Intellectual Property

All software, branding, design, and content belong to Barcoder or its licensors. You may not use our intellectual property without permission.

10. User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant Barcoder a license to store and process it for purposes of providing the Service.

11. API Terms

  • API keys must be kept secret.
  • Rate limits may apply.
  • We may suspend access for abuse.
  • Endpoints may change at any time.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

Our Privacy Policy governs how we collect and use your data.

13. Disclaimers & No Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties. We do not guarantee barcode readability due to variables like printers, scanners, and materials.

14. Limitation of Liability

Barcoder is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Total liability is limited to the amount paid during the previous 12 months.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Barcoder for claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

16. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, misuse, or legal risk. Some obligations survive termination.

17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Disputes will be handled in Pakistani courts.

18. Changes to the Service & Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

19. Assignment

You may not assign obligations without permission. We may transfer rights in case of merger or acquisition.

20. Notices

Notices will be sent to your registered email. You must keep contact information updated.

21. Miscellaneous

If any clause is unenforceable, the rest remain valid. These Terms form the entire agreement between you and Barcoder.
